Principal's Message

Welcome back Glenville Gators! I would like to officially welcome you to the 2025-2026 school year!  I continue to be your proud principal and look forward to another exciting and successful school year.  At Glenville, we are committed to providing a caring, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that sparks curiosity and ignites a passion for learning in every student. We are fortunate to have a dedicated team of educators who support our children not only academically but also in their social-emotional development.

We are pleased to welcome many new staff members to our school community this year!  They bring fresh ideas, diverse experiences, and renewed energy that will enrich our learning environment. When combined with the established excellence and deep institutional knowledge of our veteran teachers, this collaboration promises to create an even stronger and more dynamic school experience for our students.

As we embark on this new journey together, I want to elaborate on an exciting direction for our school—one that centers around the theme of collaboration.

In keeping with our collaborative partnering in learning, we are expanding co-teaching opportunities across the school day. This means more classrooms will benefit from the combined strengths of multiple educators working together to plan, instruct, and support all learners at various times throughout the day. Our experienced teachers, as well as new staff members, bring unique talents that, when shared, will help propel our entire school community forward.

Additionally, we want to extend this spirit of collaboration beyond the classroom. We are exploring ways to increase opportunities for families to observe and engage with the excellent learning happening throughout our building. Whether through meaningful volunteer opportunities, learning showcases, or open-door events, we believe that when families and educators work closely together, our students benefit the most.
